A family trade, four generations in
BC Paving didn't start last year, and neither did the family behind it. Four generations back, the Collins name started showing up on asphalt jobs, and the trade has been passed down, son to son, ever since. Hot mix temperatures, roller patterns, how a sub-base feels under a proof-roll: this isn't a business we picked up to fill a gap, it's the work we were raised inside of.
Rooted in the work
We know which sites sit on clay that heaves every spring, which sloped lots need extra drainage work before a single truck rolls in, and how weather can punish a surface that was rushed. When you hire us for your driveway or parking lot, you're not getting a franchise reading a script. You're getting the family crew that will stand behind the work.
Owner-operator Ben Collins
Ben Collins runs BC Paving the way his grandfather ran the crew before him: show up on the day you said you would, prep the base before a single shovel of hot mix comes off the truck, and don't pack the tools up until the customer walks the job and says it looks right. There's no salesman handing you off to a foreman you've never met. The voice on the phone is the guy in the hi-vis the day you're paved.
What you can count on from us
Free, detailed estimates. Same-day responses whenever we can swing it. Licensed and insured. Honest recommendations, including when an overlay will save you money versus a full tear-out, or when millings are the smarter call than hot mix on a long driveway. Every job is backed by our guarantee, and we're only a phone call or a Facebook message away if you have a question afterwards.
That's how BC Paving built its reputation. It's also how we intend to keep it: one driveway, one lot, and one spring at a time.
